Polylite Industrial Corporation ground breaks the construction of their head offices and showroom to coincide with their 10th anniversary. JDSM is the designing architectural firm of the new building targeted for completion by summer of 2014.

This is the firm’s first off shore account. Located in the upscale district of Mid-Levels, Hong Kong, in the very prestigious Grenville House, this 300 square meter condominium unit has a full service demonstration-grade kitchen, dining and living halls, powder room, den, two standard bed room suites and a master suite. The design style is Techno Sino-Indian Modern with heavy take-off emphasis on the Indian roots of the owners.
Of a different concept of luxury, opposed to the South East Asian clean and matte, this project takes the opposite direction and goes glossy luxurious, which is in order in cold sub-tropical East Asian cities such as Hong Kong.
Materials are rear coated glass, real and faux leather, stainless steel, Chinese Maple in charcoal silverised oil stain, agglomerated stone and poly-urethane paint. Kitchen is in rear coated glass on high density fiber board with resin counter top, all by Kitench, Incorported. Back Ground Music – Public Address (BGM-PA) System is by Bose, and selected furniture pieces are by Fendi, Vitra, Giorgetti and Kenneth Cobonpue. Prominent furniture pieces are designed by the firm’s principal, Joseph Javier. The project completed summer of 2010.

2013 marks the 10th year anniversary of the commissioning of this project to JDSM. The house is landmark for the design firm as it is the first design work that is published in print media. Together with 19 top architects and designers of the country, JDSM was featured in the coffee table book 25 Tropical Houses of the Philippines. The book was released on 2004.
The firm’s vision of the proposed Sports Complex of the College of Saint Benilde located at Malate in Manila. Amenities include a community park, swimming pool, courts for basketball, badminton, table tennis and volleyball, studios for dance, martial arts and group exercises, jogging track, roof deck football pitch, fitness clinic and spa, faculty rooms and offices, training classrooms, food court, dormitories, chapel and parking.
